Sharjah Crown Prince Honours Sharjah Ports Customs and Free Zones Authority

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, honored on 7^th May 2023 the winners of the second edition of the Sharjah Award in Public Finance at the Culture Palace in Sharjah.

Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority won the category Strategic Partner of the award. The award was received by Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Authority in the presence of Salem Yousif Al Qasser, Chairman of Board of Trustees of Sharjah Award in Public Finance.

The Authority expressed its appreciation for this honor, commending the award’s role in promoting and enabling government agencies to effectively implement financial and accounting management functions while keeping pace with the best international practices in managing government finances and the general budget.

The Sharjah Award in Public Finance was established in 2016, to promote a culture of excellence and development of administrative thought and to give a single identity to various government agencies titled “Efficiency and Excellence”. The Award is based on a vision that it is a leading and Arab award in the field of public finance. Its mission is to promote and disseminate the culture of quality and excellence as an approach to developing and improving the performance of Arab financial institutions, through adoption standards of excellence in the award, exchange of expertise and best practices and experiences in financial management.
