Department of Seaports and Customs Participates in Gitex 2019

The Department of Seaports & Customs (DSCP) concluded its participation in the 39th session of Gitex Technology Week Exhibition which was held at Dubai Trade Centre during the period 6-10 October 2019. The participation of the department came within the platform of all of Sharjah's Government Departments which included 33 entities.
Various applications were displayed at Sharjah Government platform including some e-services which were displayed to the public for the first time. These e-services are aiming at facilitating procedures and time consumption for all customers of the government entities of Sharjah.
DSCP participation came within the direction of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah to provide latest solutions by linking together all governmental entities digitally. DSPC's participation also came within the support of Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Seaports & Customs and H.E. Mohammed Meer Abdul Rahman, Director of DSPC.
H.E., the Director of DSPC visited the stand and expressed his pleasure at the participation of the Department in the 39th session of the Gitex Technology Week Exhibition.
Among prominent personalities who visited the stand were His Excellency Sheikh Haitham Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Kalba City, Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan City, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah E- Government Department his Excellency Marwan bin Jasim Al Sarkal, CEO of Sharjah investment and Development Authority(Shurooq), H.E. Dr. Rashad Salim Director of Al Qasimiya University,H.E. Ali Hussain Khlaifa Al Mazroa, Director General of Finance Control Department , H.E. Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Social Security Department, H.E. Yaqoub Al Ali, Manager of Communication and Relations- Dubai Customs. The visitors were acquainted with the e-services afforded by the department.
The participating DSPC team of IT staffs and Customs officers included Mr. Mohammed Abdul Wahid Al Ajmani, Mr. Majid Yaqoub al Ramsi, Mr. Abdullah Al Mazimi, Mr. Yahya Abdullah Madhloum and Miss Khawla Al Ali.
