With the Participation of Department of Seaports & Customs... Crown Prince Inaugurates the National Career Exhibition

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the 22nd edition of the National Career Exhibition 2020 which was held at the Expo Centre Sharjah during the period 9 -11 February 2020.
 The Department of Seaports & Customs (DSPC) participated in the fair within the platform of Sharjah Government Departments. DSPC's participation came within the course of its strategic partnership with Directorate of Sharjah Human Resources (DHR).
With more than 50 public and private institutions, The Career Fair was organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah in cooperation with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS) and (DHR) and with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SCCI.

Following the inauguration, Sharjah Crown Prince, accompanied by the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and the attendees, toured the exhibition pavilions, where they were briefed on the job opportunities and training programmes offered to Emirati citizens and graduates and the various opportunities the participating institutions provide for enhancing the job skills of Emirati job seekers, in addition to the most prominent achievements of banks, insurance companies, finance and exchange in the Emiratization field.

The Exhibition focused on three main themes; “empowering promising national cadres, training and professional development”.

His Excellency Mohammed Meer Abdul Rahman, Director of the Department of Seaports & Customs has participated in the opening ceremony and visited the pavilion of the Department.

The Department was represented by Rashid Khamis Hamad Al Suwaidi, Director of HR Administration(Sharjah Customs) , and staff of Sharjah Customs HR Administration; Bushra Mohammed AbdulRaman Al Hammer, Ali Hamad Raqit, Ali Ghanim Al Mazroui and Jasim Mohammed Ibrahim, and Customs Officers; Fawziyah Bilal Al Harr, Hazeem bin Hadah and Mohammed Modhafar Al Zarouni.
